We'll be posting a variety of facts and photos of whatever takes our fancy as we wander around Dorset. They may be of churches, buildings, visitor attractions or natural scenes – in fact there will be all sorts! We hope they will give you a glimpse of some of the sights this beautiful county has to offer.

Monkey World is located near Wool and is a private concern which does great work around the world rescuing apes which have been abused or maltreated. The centre was founded by Jim Cronin in 1987, and has expanded over the years to become one of the most popular family attractions in England. Sadly, Jim passed away in 2007, but his work is continued by his dedicated wife, Dr Alison Cronin, and he has left a legacy which will survive for many years to come.
We spent half a day at Monkey World and had a brilliant time. These are some of our favourite photos from that day.
Hi, we're Nick and Karen. We both live and work in Dorset and are keen walkers in our spare time. We want to share with you some of the sights we enjoy on our ramblings around our home county. Please feel free to comment on our posts if you wish.
